Another mom visit successfully completed!
We're getting the hang of this long-distance thing. We used to live right across the Hudson River from each other - a 5-minute drive or a 40-minute walk. We would meet for lunch or coffee, and if one day didn't work out, another was just as good. The three- or four-day visit, planned in advance, is a big change for us. But so far it's gone well.
My mother said that all her friends - and she's got a million of them - ask her, How do they like it up there? How do they like living in Canada? She said, "I tell them, they love it!"
What can I say. It's true.

I've always known this is the best country in the world to live in. Glad you agree!! It ain't perfect, but what can we expect - it's run by humans.
