groove not war: support war resisters in canada

Tonight at Toronto's Lula Lounge: Groove Not War, a benefit for US soldiers seeking refuge in Canada.

Admission is $15 (or pay what you can), and all money goes to legal costs and other needed work to help Iraq war resisters stay in Canada. The War Resisters Support Campaign is an all-volunteer organization, and even after one meeting, I see that volunteers put themselves on the line financially and every other way.

Allan and I will be there tonight. If you live in Toronto and can stop by, you'd be directly helping an important cause.
