war resister robin long arrested in vancouver; corey glass in court today

Yesterday in Vancouver, war resister Robin Long was arrested on bogus immigration charges. This has happened before, and amounts to simple harassment.

Today in Toronto, Corey Glass goes to court for a final hearing on his deportation.

Meanwhile, a Federal court has ruled that the Immigration and Refugee Board applied too narrow a standard when rejecting the case of war resister Joshua Key.

And in Parliament, the united Opposition has called on the Harper minority Government to let Iraq War resisters stay in Canada.

What will it take to make these people respect democracy??
