Courage To Resist has launched its "Dear Canada" campaign in support of US war resisters in Canada.
If you are an American who believes that war resisters - former US soldiers who refused to continue to participate in the occupation of Iraq - should be allowed to stay in Canada, I urge you to get involved.
Please visit Courage To Resist's Canada page to learn how. You can write a letter or donate money for postage. If you can go one step further, encourage others to sign the letter online. You can order "Dear Canada" postcards for your own outreach efforts. Graphics and other "Dear Canada" resources are available here.
These men and women have turned their backs on torture, murder and destruction. They have refused to kill innocent civilians. They have placed true conscience above false duty.
They have, quite literally, risked everything for peace. We who stand for peace, but who sacrifice little, have an obligation to help them.
Please take a few minutes and ask Canada to let them stay.
