This is newly elected Member of Parliament Andrew Cash (Davenport). He has a personal connection to US war resisters in Canada, war resisters live in his riding, and he'll be making our voice heard in Parliament.
Cash replaces another strong supporter of war resisters, former Liberal MP Mario Silva. Mario was originally opposed to allowing Iraq War resisters to stay - until he learned the facts and heard their stories. After that, he did whatever he could to help. I sincerely thank him for that and I wish him the very best.
