email drive and petition demanding public inquiry into g20 events

  • In case you haven't seen this yet, here is way to contact elected officials to call for a public inquiry into the actions of the government and the police during the G20 Summit in Toronto, via the amazing activist Rick Telfer.*

To send your emails, go here.

  • You can make a donation towards legal defence for the hundreds of peace protesters and bystanders arrested by going here.

Unfortunately, it is only by cheque or automatic deduction, not PayPal. But if you can afford a bit, it's worth the effort.

  • You can also add your name to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association's petition, by sending your name and email address to g20petition@ccla.org.

    * I originally wrote that this was a petition, but it's not. It's a mass email drive. Thanks to Imp Strump for catching that.
