To the GO train riders who were sitting in the last car of the 8:45 from Port Credit:
I'm sorry I had a coughing fit this morning. I have allergies. I am not contagious.
Perhaps you believe that staring at a person who is coughing, or glaring at them with grave disapproval, will cause them to stop coughing. As you now know, it does not.
Perhaps you believe that a person who is coughing should not take public transportation. However, I wasn't coughing when I left my house.
Next time I am coughing uncontrollably, holding my hand over my mouth, gasping for breath, tears rolling down my face, struggling to breathe, I will remember that my biggest problem is really that I am inconveniencing you.
Signed,
An allergy sufferer
Next time, say out loud: "Those stupid chickens"
ReplyDeleteLOL!! I might have gotten kicked off entirely.
ReplyDeleteHow rude!
ReplyDeleteI think you should print this out. laminate it and hand it to the next person who glares at you for coughing.
Someone at work suggested I wear a sign saying "NO SARS".
ReplyDeleteYou know, I don't embarrass easily, but I was really embarrassed by this. I'm actually hoping no one remembers me next Friday, the next day I'm on the train.
LOL!! I might have gotten kicked off entirely.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I would challenge them to remove you by force. Bring it on.
