Redsock just sent me this from Xymphora, one of his favorite blogs: in honor of Canada Day, Canada's Top 50 Essential Songs. Hey, as long as Joni's got a few on the list, the rest is gravy.

    Stan Rogers is little known outside of folk music circles, but his music is a must for any true Canadian (especially if you're a Maritimer). His premature death in a plane crash just adds to his mystique.
