I hate hearing about a scheduled blog post not appearing; I arrange a bunch of online finals that have to show at a set time, since I'm in class and not around to tend and fuss. So far, it's worked, but, god knows, blogger sometimes is pretty much bloooger.
I couldn't post on my own course blog for a month last year. Fortunately, johngoldfine had presciently invited someone named jgoldfine to be a blog contributor, and all was well.

Palindromic dates are my favourite.
I have trouble getting my mind around yyy mm dd. I usually use dd mm yy. But I'll make exceptions for palindromes!
