Fascinating read, thank you for sharing.

I'd like to read the entire article, but I'd be late for my appointment with a Death Panel.

Just this morning I discovered your blog, and am looking forward to reading from the beginning. My husband and I are seriously considering immigrating to Canada and the info you have put out here is priceless. Thanks!

@Joe, if you posted it on FB, I stole it from you anyway.

@KittyMomma, you're welcome, and good luck!

that movie was one of the more depressing I have seen.
I started crying in the first 5 minutes and didnt stop even at the end of the movie. It left me feeling sick for a week.
And gave me this great desire to hit anyone who bitched about waiting in emergency for an hour at the local hospital here in BC.
We may not be perfect - not by along shot - by I will take our imperfections over the alternative any day of the week after watching that movie.
sigh.

Plus, most of the problems with the Canadian system could be solved by better funding. If you want to "prove" that a system doesn't work, under-fund it - then when it staggers under the weight, privatize it.
