there is only one kind of war resister

There was a negative story about US war resisters in Canada in the National Post this week: Two kinds of war resistors [sic]. Non-Canadian readers, the Post is Canada's version of Fox News.

Perhaps you'll take a minute and send a response: click here.

Obviously, they're talking about carbon film resistors vs. metal film resistors. Carbon film resistors can be manufactured to higher maximum resistance, but the metal film ones are less noisy and generally have better performance overall.

I hope this story is relevant enough to add to this thread. The opposition parties should be so lucky to have that buffoon take the leadership.

As for Matt Gurney, the fact that he thinks Kim Rivera leaving her children behind while she sits in jail for a year or two to live "within the dictates of her conscience" says plenty about Gurney's lack of understanding and empathy about this issue.

Whereas his hideous spelling makes him a perfect candidate for a position at CIC.

Absolutely. I've been hoping for this myself.

Not only his spelling...That is really Canadian Fox News!! But he heard from me.

I wrote that that self-sacrifice stuff is abusive and I want to voice my protest against his reason for preferring Victor Agosto over Kim in the strongest possible terms and that I am a supporter of the war resisters in Canada.

Hope that went home!

I guess one impedes war, the other impedes electricity?
