we move to canada
Lovely. Many more!
Perhaps you have already shared this story (I hope I have not forgotten it), but how did this event occur?
Hm, that's a long story. The short version is, on the street in New York. But it's much better than that. You'll have to wait in suspense. :)Thank you Nigel!
I think that's the same teaser I got before when I asked! How long do we have to wait for the full story? Perhaps I will get it out of you or Allan NEXT WEEK WHEN WE MEET! YAY!
You know what? I'll write the whole thing - we'll both write it - for wmtc. We've bored so many people with this story, what the hell, let's record it here and anyone who doesn't want to read it, they know what to do. I also just realized that, as I turned 48 last month, I have now known Allan half my life. Also: NEXT WEEK, YAY!!!
I actually was thinking about the "half your life" comment. I know when I think about the fact that I have known Harvey now for well over half of my life (36 years since the summer we met), it seems amazing and yet also right.
You must have told the story here at some point, no?
I don't think so, but I'll check before I write it.
Happy Anniversary and all the best for more to come!
I'm looking forward to reading the story too.Incidentally, I passed the known-my-spouse-for-half-my-life point six freakin' years ago... yikes. We didn't start dating until a few years after that though. It'll be a while before we'll have been together for half our lives.Belated congrats on the anniversary!
I passed the known-my-spouse-for-half-my-life point six freakin' years ago... yikes.Wow! It'll be a while before we'll have been together for half our lives.Well, July 20, 1985 is the day Allan and I met. We have been together since January 3, 1987. Not sure what that means on the half-our-lives scale.
