video: minister kenney walks away from iraq veteran kim rivera

[Allan Guest Post]

Feigning ignorance and running away ....

Kim Rivera has more courage in her little finger right now than Jason Kenney will muster in his entire life.

***

Mr. Kinney says he's not familiar with the details of Kim's case.

Maybe we should remind him:

Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney
Ministry Office: 613.954.1064
Parliamentary Office: 613.992.2235

minister@cic.gc.ca
or Kennej@parl.gc.ca

Good god what a simpering coward Kenney is.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Send me some info -- because the first 10,000 phone calls and emails I received about this one case hasn't made a dent in my thick head. Oh no, I'm scared, gotta run out this door."

If he had any guts at all, he would have stood there and told Kim exactly how he felt and what he was going to do.

But he is nothing but a coward -- a man who is completely afraid to face the consequences of his own actions.

I think he had ample reason to be scared because of his mean, abusive policy. If he were a downright sadist in addition to everything else, he might even have tried to bully her directly by telling her how he would want to have her deported and stuff and how glad he will be when she's locked up and some blaming the victim stuff and other nasty things etc.etc. That would have been absolutely dreadful and horrid and cruel and it would have added insult to injury. So, in one way I think what he actually did was the lesser evil, compared with the dire prospect of him potentially verbally abusing her directly. I think it's merely the typical reaction of somebody who doesn't want to learn that his actions really cause many problems and great hardship because he doesn't want to mend his ways. His asking for info to be sent to him was merely a pretext, of course. He got info many times but he simply doesn't want to mend his ways. The problem IMO is that he won't listen and he won't care and he doesn't get that the only reason he's scared of talking to her is because of his own horrid policy and that the consequence would be mending his ways and letting her and the other war resisters stay, I feel.
