war resister chris teske gets three-day reprieve from deportation

We've just learned that Chris Teske has been granted a three-day reprieve from the CBSA. Chris requested that his deportation take place closer to his home. That request was granted, and now the appropriate paperwork is being filed and sent.

Keep the faith. Let's use these three days to fight, fight, fight on behalf of Chris and all war resisters in Canada. These deportations need to stop and they need to stop now.

Your calls, emails and letters are needed now more than ever.

According to this public information that "home" is North Carolina. So which border crossing should we be at to demonstrate? ...that is if Friday comes without any change in the situation?

Boyd, we're not going to say that in public, for Chris's own safety. You can get in touch with west coast campaign people for that.

But as far as where Chris is going, the US military will take him into custody and bring him to the base of their choosing. It has nothing to do with where he's from or where his former base was.

Thanks for your reply. I hear you, and am with you. I know exactly what you mean about the safety thing. And I know exactly what you mean about the U.S military doing whatever they want.

Peace and solidarity,
Boyd
