Thanks a lot, Laura! I must say, I've been inspired by wmtc, as well as a lot of the other bloggers who are friends of wmtc. In particular, I've been enjoying reading the stories of many of the bi-national couples (and am full of hope for those who are still working through the immigration process). Thanks to all for setting a great example.
I hate to stereotype, but here's the really important difference between Canadians and Americans: Americans do vanity plates much better. It could be something genetic (ask David Suzuki if the license-plate-choosing gene has been documented), but is probably more environmental, since Americans have been doing them for many years - far longer than Canadians. I can count on one hand the number of really good personalized Ontario plates I have seen since we started allowing them.
Sad to say, I can't contribute to the license trend. I sold my car to move into my condo.

Next step: Ordering "mcij" license plates!
Ha! I mentioned to Kim that he's way ahead of the game with the nice short URL. I had wemovetocanada.blogspot.com for years before I went to wmtc.ca.
Do you think we'll start a licence plate trend?

Out here in the suburbs, tons of cars out here have personalized plates. I don't know what any of them mean, but there are zillions of them.
None as good as ours, of course. :)
