A few people have asked me about my recent radio interview, so I'll re-post what I said in comments.
Follow this link to the station's website, and look for "audio vault" on the left side.
You'll need to join the "listener's club". It's kind of a lengthy process to sign up, and you have to be careful to opt-out of all the crap they want to send you, but once you sign up, you can hear any show. It's free.
After you join, go to Sunday, August 5, choose 8 a.m., and fast-forward to 40:40.
It's not a big deal, pretty basic, but there were no sneak attacks and I didn't make any major stumbles, so I was pleased. If you're curious, there 'tis.
Update: see comments for easier link to the audio vault, thanks to friend of wmtc Scott M.

Save yourself the trouble--Folks with Windows Media Player just click here.
For those wanting to cut and paste, here's the URL: http://www.cknw.com/dynamic/dynamic_audiovault_process.asp?dt=20070805_08He
Oops! Drop that "...He"
Laura,
Thanks for the archive instructions - "drf" and I were walking around the Stanley Park seawall in Vancouver when you were on. We just played the your portion of the show. Great job - for you, that is. Can't say we were impressed with Cameron Bell's interviewing skills.
You came across as analytical and informed on the issue. It reinforces your aka of "The Grande Dame" of US-to-Canada immigrants.
Wonder if StatCounter has shown a spike since the show . . . .
I agree, his interviewing skills are very poor, at least on this interview. Perhaps he's usually better. I hope so!
And I thank you for the compliments. :)
Wonder if StatCounter has shown a spike since the show
I'd love to know, but sadly, my Statcounter-obsessed days are over. Since using URL forwarding - enabling me to use my own URL with Blogger - I don't have reliable stats anymore.
I've learned to live with it. :)
Thanks for the link, Scott. :)
No prob. Hopefully folks will read the comments before going through the yucky process of subscribing to CKNW. :)
Well, I guess I could edit the post to include your link, but it didn't work when I tried it, so I'm reluctant to post it.
Hey, if folks really want to hear it that badly... ;)
Don't forget to NOT use the written-out link as it has a spare "He" for no reason... but other than that, it works fine (the format is ...?dt=YYYYMMDD_HH)
I didn't try the cut-and-paste method. I only clicked on the link, and it didn't work. Maybe other readers will have better luck.
I clicked on "just click here" and scrolled to about 40:40. I wish I had found Scott's link before giving the radio station all my vital statistics!
This was great, Laura! I enjoyed listening to all three perspectives, as well as visiting the other websites. What a celebrity you are! Cortes Island looks very appealing, too. Maybe we'll check it out!
Thanks, Marcie! I added a note about Scott's link to this post. I can't get the link to work, so I couldn't post it myself, but perhaps this will help.
