reminder: wmtc on the radio today

I'm supposed to be on The Cameron Bell Show, CKNW Vancouver, AM 980, 11:45 a.m. Eastern, 8:45 a.m. Pacific.

I'm sure my portion will be very brief, but if this turns out to be another ambush, it will be even briefer. I've decided to refuse to be dragged into a screaming match. Hopefully I'll be able to keep my cool. That's a new skill for me, so we'll have to see how it works out.

So... anyone hear it?

It was innocuous and gentle. I think it went well.

Sorry I missed it! How long were you on for? Did you listen to the debate following?

How long were you on for?

The whole segment was 15 minutes, including two commercial breaks. I was on for about 5-6 minutes.

Did you listen to the debate following?

I'm at work, I can't listen to anything. What was it about? Who was debating?

Will there be an online version at some point? I'd love to hear it.

On the station's website, there's a link called "audio vault". It looks like if you sign up, you can hear any show. It's free.

I'm curious to hear it myself. I think I'll do that tomorrow.

Oh hey, I/P, the host asked if I was still happy with Canada even tho the Conservatives are in. I used your wonderful Harper/Clinton comparison, with no time to credit you. So thanks for that. :)

I just listened to it. It's pretty innocuous, as I said.

If you do want to listen, sign up for the "listeners club" - be careful with the opt-in stuff, they try to get you to sign up for other nonsense. Then choose 8 a.m., and fast-forward to 40:40.

Enjoy!

Hell! So it went okay? I'm pleased... you sounded like you were expecting the worst. What all did you say?

Hi LP! It did go well, thanks. You're right, I was expecting the worst, and almost didn't do it. But it was fine.

Nice to know that non-confrontational radio shows still exist on the AM dial. See my most recent post for more info if you'd like to listen yourself.
