notice anything different?

Did anyone notice there are different photos in the banner? I think not.

The photos will change every few weeks as I change banners. They're not drastically different. Each is a Toronto skyline, one of my favourite NYC buildings, and one local photo.

I like the idea, but it doesn't seem to have made a big impression.

The Jere take on this issue: You'd said you were gonna give us further info on the pics, so I've just kind of been waiting. I did notice the Chrysler building, and was waiting to hear what the deal was specifically. So I guess I know now. Cool. Feel free to steal any of my many NY pics from my blog!

Oh, I didn't mean I was giving more info. Just that there'd be different banners.

Thanks for the offer! But unfortuntely it's not a template that I can just stick different pictures in. The guy who designed it made 5 or 6 banners based on the pics I sent him.

I'm glad you noticed the Chrysler building. :)

Most of my NYC photos are on film and I haven't bothered to digitize them. But on our last weekend in NYC, Allan and I both took some digital photos from the offices where we worked. That's one of them.

I just figured I hadn't remembered the previous photos correctly...

Well you see we're all so dazzled by the issues here that we just rush past the garnishes to get to the meat! Can you blame us? :)

...Apparently you can... uhh... :D

Ooo, good answer! You might want to consider a job in advertising. Or politics. :)

Yup, I noticed! And, as a "native New Yorker," very nice, indeed.

If it makes you feel better, I've been putting up NYC-related logos for my blog on the sidebar, and no one's ever said anything about them. Oh well.

I didn't feel bad.

I think on your blog, the colourful banner is all you see. I've always noticed the ESB pic, which is very nice. But it can't compete with the banner.

Do you take requests? Pictures of famous Canadian actresses :)

No, and no.

I was pretty quick on that, eh? :)

Okay...I guess I will leave.

Oh I meant LIVE, not leave.

Differentiating between those two vowels (short i and long) is one of the most difficult things for Koreans to master :D

And back to the Korean-English dictionary he goes... ;-)

No fair! I was on vacation... I noticed it right away when I logged in last night. What I noticed first was you used to have a closer shot of the CN Tower.

Very good! Except...

What I noticed first was you used to have a closer shot of the CN Tower.

...the Toronto photo is the same. The NYC pic changed, and the lake is substituting for the "welcome to Canada" border crossing.

Ha! I could have sworn the CN Tower shot was different. :)

I did notice the lack of the border picture too (though I prefer the Lansdowne [1000 Island Bridge] crossing, for obvious reasons).

I also noticed today that Blogger isn't putting up the "It will take a moment for your comment to appear on the original post" box after applying a comment...

Of course I say that and it comes back. It definitely wasn't there for the comment on the scattering of ashes though... in fact, it was conspicuous in its absence.

Also for obvious reasons, I love the Buffalo crossing. I mean, I really love it. I still feel very emotional coming into Canada that way. Sometimes it's a bittersweet feeling.

I don't get that on anyone's blog anymore, as log as I'm signed in.
