yikes

Somehow wmtc has been nominated for the 2006 Canadian Blog Awards, under the "best blog" category. It's completely ridiculous, but I thank whoever nominated me. I'm honoured.

By the way, My Blahg, which hosts these awards, is why I can't use the license plate idea for the new wmtc design. Allan favours an Ontario license plate reading "wmtc", but someone beat me to it.

Actually, you've been nominated in a couple of other categories, too. :-)

I see your excellent blog there as well.

Don't I remember that you were nominated before? Last year? Different award? What was that again?

Sorry, just curious.

I hope this posts correctly. Can't figure out if one of these letters is a q or g in the verification!!! ;-)

You've got my vote! :)

And yeah, you were nominated for best progressive blog too.

Hey, I guess Nick and Mason's blog is qualified just in time, eh? And Juan and Gito's too! Lucky for the Canadian blogscape. Not to mention for Canada.

Last year wmtc was nominated for a Koufax Award, under blogs of deserving of wider recognition.

Also one of these Best Canadian Blogs, under personal blog, but I didn't announce that.

Here, here! Or hear, hear! I never did look that up.

"Hear, hear."

Just remember, in Parliament, they do a lot of talking, and they will HEAR, but not always LISTEN.

"HERE" is what kids reply when the teacher does the attendance and calls out their names.

By the way, have you ever watched the proceedings in Parliament? You can do so on TV when Parliament is in session, but you can also go up to Ottawa -- it is full of parks, and it has an amazing transit system. In the winter, people go skating on the canals.

Ah yes, thanks, Owl. I just read about hear, hear - here.

We haven't been to Ottawa yet, but plan to. I've heard many good things.
